Singing in the Fire

I don't know what or who this book is about. All I know is that I want to sing when my fire is lit. Friends, cultivate faith now, you will need it when they are pouring gasoline on you because of the gospel.

What song will you sing?

Anyone know anything about this book?

  1. "My hope is built on nothing less than Jesus blood and righteousness. I dare not trust the sweetest frame, but wholly lean on Jesus' name.
On Christ the solid rock I stand. All other ground is sinking sand..."

O what a foretaste of glory divine
Heir of salvation purchase of God
Born of His spirit washed in His blood.

  3. No guilt in life, no fear in death
This is the power of Christ in me
From life's first cry to final breath Jesus commands my destiny

No power of hell, no scheme of man
Can ever pluck me from His hand
'Till He returns or calls me home
Here in the power of Christ I'll stand

  4. My sin, o the bliss of this glorious thought,
my sin, not in part, but the whole
    Was nailed to the cross
And I bear it no more
Praise the Lord, Praise the Lord
    O, My soul.

    Though Satan should buffet,
    though trials should come,
    Let this blest assurance control
That Christ hath regarded my humble estate
and hath shed his own blood for my soul.
