The WTS hardcover price (with shipping) is now exactly the price at amazon. I've cancelled my order there and placed it with WTS. It should be in hand by next Wednesday. Very exciting!

I guess it's OK to be an ESVSB lemming. :)

  3. I just wanted to say that there are countless Christian blogs, but few that are truly written by people that have their eyes on Christ, like I believe you do. I just found your blog today, and one of the posts I read was about rebuking others, with 5 reasons why rebuking is better than hidden love. That was so good, and helped me, because I am strugging about if I should speak to some fellow Christians. My wife and I also have a blog, and we would be honored if you visited it.

    Thanks again for your blog,

I cannot make up my mind between the hard cover and the trutone version. Someone make my decision for me! :)

  5. Brian,
That is the exact same decision I had to make.

I finally decided on the hardcover for 2 reasons:
    1. I'm cheap.
    2. It is just going to sit on my desk or shelf as a resource. I'm not planning to carry it with me.

If you are going to use it as your primary Bible, and you have the extra $16, go with the TruTone.

    Hope that helps.

That's what I've been thinking. Right now I use my Reformation Study Bible as my home reading bible. I carry a thin line to church.

I may just get the Trutone for durability over time.

  7. Is there a Reformation Study Bible in ESV? The only one I could find was NIV.

  8. Yes, there is a Reformation Study Bible in the ESV.

However, the ESV Study Bible is supposed to be better.

  9. Have you switched to memorizing verses in ESV since it's your main text of study now?
