How Much do You Talk About God?

In Ephesians, Paul references the Godhead (Father, Son, Spirit) about 198 times. In the first 66 verses (chapters 1-3), he references God 120 times (an average of 2 times per verse).

God likes to be know. He does not desire to be hidden or disguised or assumed. He desires to be made much of with our lips and pens.

Amen. I remember hearing Piper say that God does not like to be the "unspoken premise," and that a vague statement about the "glory of God" will not suffice. Our God has "edges and contours" He said and must be seen in all his fullness. Thanks for this reminder.

Amen, I like to serve a God who is able to communicate truth to us about himself. This seems to be a problem for the god of those who have bought into postmodernism.

God Bless,

Doug

My answer to that question would be probably not enough.
