God is Faithful

The Bible declares God's faithfulness:

Exodus 34:6 (“abounding in steadfast love and faithfulness”)
Deuteronomy 7:9 (“He is the faithful God…”)
Deuteronomy 32:4 (“a God of Faithfulness”)
Psalm 33:4 (“all His work is done in faithfulness”)
Psalm 36:5 (“your faithfulness extends to the clouds”)
Psalm 86:15 (“abounding in steadfast love and faithfulness”)
Psalm 117:2 (“the faithfulness of the Lord endures forever”)
Psalm 119:90 (“Your faithfulness endures to all generations”)
Lamentations 3:21-24 (“great is your faithfulness”)
1 Cor. 1:9 (“God is faithful”)
1 Cor. 10:13 (“God is faithful”)
1 Thess. 5:24 (“He who calls you is faithful”)
Hebrews 10:23 (“for He who promised is faithful”)
Revelation 19:11 (“The One sitting on it is called Faithful and True”)

What does "God is Faithful" mean?
1. God always does what He says He is going to do
2. God will never ever fail us

I was looking for a little more about you question there at the end. Your answer didn't quite satisfy me, so I looked up faithful in the dictionary to see what it said....

What really caught me, is that we sometimes use the word "faithful" to talk about people as well, and not just Christians. (Although I've never heard anyone refer to Buddah or Alah as faithful...) What a blessing it would be to meet Christ one day, and have him say "well done, good and ... servant..."
