What does "God is Faithful" mean?

I was looking for a little more about you question there at the end. Your answer didn't quite satisfy me, so I looked up faithful in the dictionary to see what it said....

What really caught me, is that we sometimes use the word "faithful" to talk about people as well, and not just Christians. (Although I've never heard anyone refer to Buddah or Alah as faithful...) What a blessing it would be to meet Christ one day, and have him say "well done, good and ... servant..."
