1. Focus on Christ- specifically- getting my focus off of my circumstances- and off of others- and looking to Christ to set the standard of faith and obedience...(heb 12:2)
Just for free- I read this quote by MacAurthur this morning on Heb 12:2 in "Anxious for nothing" and he said "Jesus is the greatest example of faith who ever lived because He had the most to loose....His act of faith remains forever unsurpassed." I just am so thankful for that thought this morning...that there really is nothing that I will ever face that will ever compare to what Christ faced...also the fact that for my faith- I have "not yet resisted to the point of shedding blood" (12:3-4)I have not been crucified...why am I complaining???? It really made my focus change this morning!!! It was so good, I thought Id share it!!!
2. Being gentle and patient- giving grace...realizing that people are blinded by the truth just as I was...and it is God alone who can open their eyes and change their hearts...being committed to pray for their hearts-instead of being frustrated!
Justin,
I have been at camp for 15 straight days and have truly missed your blog. It is refreshing and encouraging to me. I am thankful for it.
