I learned something new today: Josh Harris is the author of the dream called "The Room."
I can remember being affected and moved by this story in college. It was one of the original bulk e-mail stories that got circulated in the late 90s. I remember the e-mail contained "author unknown" at the end of it. It is a vivid portrayal of the atonement.
I didn't know that Josh Harris wrote it and I didn't know that there was an authorship controversy. On Josh Harris' blog, you can read "The Room," watch a dramatic portrayal of it, and read about the authoriship controversy.

yes, I remember reading that story in highschool as well....I also remember passing out copies of it at one of our bake sales. It moved me...I remember feeling sick while I read it- thinking about my own life and how much that Christ knows the deep depths of my heart.
I am so thankful for the blood of Christ that covers me...most undeserving. Do you think we will ever truly grasp that truth? The price that was paid on our behalf? Maybe once we stand before Him and all reality sets in- like Isaiah.
Justin,
I do remember reading this. I don't know if that was in one of his books that I do have or the chain-email that I had gotten before. It had gotten me as I was thinking about it when I first read it.
We all need to be reminded who we are and be thankful for the Lord Jesus Christ to take our sins away when we accepted Him as our personal Lord and Savior.
In Christ Alone,
BoldLion
