Read the Bible in 2010

Have you ever read the whole Bible? Why not? You could do it this year. Not as a means of earning favor with God (Christ secures that). But as an expression of your desire to know and enjoy Christ more.

If you need a plan, here is The Discipleship Journal Bible Reading Plan.

This year, 2009 is my first year to read the whole Bible for the first time on my own! It is a true blessing to do that. I had been using The One Year Bible ESV. That is availble through Crossway.com. I can't wait to finish it tomorrow night (Dec 31st).

Lord willing in the 2010, I will be reading through NASB updated, but I couldn't find The One Year Bible NASB in hardback and brand new. So, someone gave me enough money for me to buy NASB that isn't a study Bible. I will be reading this through out the year with the One Year Plan bookmark for that.

I am aware of Discipleship Journal Bible Reading Plan and do think that is great. I rather read every day instead of skiping days.

I would encourage other to read the Bible through out the year in both Discipleship Journal Bible Reading Plan, or the One Year Bible Plan.
