Respectable Sins
Christ Baptist Church is about to start reading and discussing a fantastic book called Respectable Sins in our care groups. Our goal is to grow together in our battle against all sin as we help each other apply the gospel to our everyday lives. I encourage you to get a copy of this book and invite other Christians to read it and discuss it together. There is even a discussion guide available.

I read this book a few years ago when it first came out. I honestly had to put it down. It was such a struggle to me at the time to not do what Elyse Fitzpatrick calls "naval gazing".
Though now, having rediscovered the gospel, and understanding God's sweet grace I wonder if I would have a different response to said book? hmmm.....
