Directions for Dealing With Sins

I'm loving Bridges' new book on Respectable Sins. Chapter six alone is worth the price of this book (and chapter four). Bridges gives seven directions for dealing with specific sins. Here they are in summary fashion:

1. Apply the gospel.
2. Depend on the Holy Spirit.
3. Recognize your responsibility.
4. Identify specific "respectable" sins.
5. Memorize and apply appropriate Scriptures.
6. Cultivate the practice of prayer.
7. Involve one or a few other believers with you.
Get this book on the Christmas list!

Thanks for this summary, Justin. I am thinking and praying about using this in our youth small group study for the next year. I have it on my shelf and am looking forward to reading it soon.
