Chapter 9 of Worship Matters by Bob Kauflin is an excellent read. I would encourage all those who got this book at T4G, and anyone else who has it, to read this chapter on why the cross is crucial to our worship.
Chapter 11 is all about the importance of God's Word in our gatherings. Read and apply.
