Snow in Texas

I lived in Southeast Texas most of my life and I have only seen pictures of snow when I was very young. I move to NC and I've only seen a few flurries. I visit Texas for a few days and see 6 inches of snow! Don't let these pictures fool you, there was much more snow than you can see here. I've got to teach the kids how to make a real snow-ball.

I grew up in NY and have seen (and shoveled) enough snow to last my whole life!

Ironically, I was Christmas shopping last night and actually saw a "snowball maker" for sale.

I am quite jealous with you all especially with Noah since it snowed on his birthday in Texas for him. My birthday is on Dec 30th, and I don't ever remember it ever snow here, NC on my birthday.

Still, I am dreaming of a white Christmas and white birthday here in NC.

I heard that news on the facebook with someone in Texas from NC/SC, and moved to TX, and she was in shock to see it snow in TX.

By the way, when you come home to NC, please bring some snow for us!

Have fun in the snow!

We are SOOOOO jealous!!! Hannah wanted to know if we could come over. Very happy for you all and the kids-- I'm sure Karis was thrilled.

So much for Al Gore's global warming theory! Isn't God good to let you experience snow in S.E. Texas? Proves who is in control!

You're in Texas? Are you coming up around Austin at all? Come see us!! If snow is all it takes to get you excited, then I'll be glad to tell you that it snowed 3 feet in Austin today. Don't be mad when you get here. :)

I don't know you Denbigh, but couldn't you send us some snow in NC! I would love to have 3 feet of snow here.

Clif, By the way, what is global warming?
