Absolutely. It's all wrapped up in the word "remember" for me. It motivates me to give because I will be more blessed. Remove the blessing promised and it kicks the foundation out from underneath the motivation. Jesus clearly intends to motivate us to give by promising blessing.
My problem is: Do I believe it? And, why am I so content with not being as blessed as I could be if I entered into giving more sacrificially?
But, to answer your question, yes, I have tasted it and long to be more giving. But, man, have I got a long way to go to be like the Macedonians (2 Corinthians 8) and like Jesus (Mark 10:45).

Sound like a paraphrase of Acts 20:35 to me.
Yes, it is more blessed to give than to recieve!
Now that we know it is Biblical, do you find it to be true in your life? And, does it motivate you to be more giving?
