The gloom of sickness

I had some great plans for this week. It looks like many of them will be pushed to a later time because I am very sick. Thank God for wireless internet connection because I don't even have the strength to make it to the desk. My wife is being a wonderful servant. Please pray that I will get better today so that I can serve her. Ever since reading C.J. Mahaney's "Humility", I have prayed daily, "Lord kill pride and cultivate humility." I'll just accept this set back as an answer to that prayer.

If you would like, you can write out a prayer in the comment section.

O for the day when our bodies will be raised imperishable! I sympathize with you, brother, and ask that the Great Physician would restore you soon.

It is refreshing to see that kind of leadership in the home...the kind that follows the example of Christ. Praying for your health!

Father, I pray for health and healing for my brother in You. Fill him with a sense of your love and grace today. Give Jeanna a servant's heart and fill them with joy in Christ's name.
