Chapter 5 of Growing Up Christian begins the second section of this book, which deals with thinking biblically. However, this chapter could just as well be the 4th danger church kids face: the danger of pride or self-righteousness.
God’s Promises to the Humble:
1. God promises to respect and highly regard the humble (Isa. 66:2).
2. God promises to be with and revive the humble (Isa. 57:15).
3. God promises to exalt and give grace to the humble (1 Pt. 5:5-6).
4. God promises to guide the humble in what is right (Ps. 25:9).
“The Bible’s standards for greatness are sharply different from the world’s. The world exalts athletes, movie stars, musicians, corporate CEOs, political leaders, and the wealthy. But the promises of God in Scripture and the direct words of Jesus place value on a humble heart.”
Graustein gives 15 characteristics of the proud and 18 characteristics of the humble.
How can we grow in humility?
1. Pray for more humility.
2. Understand the immense difference between God and us.
3. Be aware of your weaknesses and limitations.
4. Study God’s promises to the humble.
5. Study creation.
6. Spend time with people who are more gifted than you are.
7. Learn a new skill.
8. Spend time with humble people.
9. Spend time with people who are honest with you about yourself.
10. Serve others.
Which one of these 10 do you need to implement today? Comment on it.

I think I am always more aware of how I can grow in humility then in the areas where I am proud. That can definitely be treacherous as it can lead one to not be as active in seeing where they need to fight pride and almost presume they don't have a problem with pride.
To answer the question at hand, I can probably definitely grow in awareness of my weakness and limitations. It is easy for me to think about how much I've accomplished and not realize that it's all been by God's grace.
