Chapter 9 – The Roles of the Different Gatherings
Introduction
The various regular gatherings of the church should perform a different role in the corporate health of the local church.
Adult Education Hour
This is the main EQUIPPING time.
Sunday Morning Service
This is the main FEEDING time. Thus, biblical exposition is to be primary.
Sunday Evening Service
This is the main church FAMILY time. “We are aiming at using the Sunday evening service to cultivate a value of the corporate health and witness of the local church.”
Wednesday Evening Service
This is the main STUDY time.
Members’ Meetings
This is the main ADMINISTRATIVE time.
