Thought I would just give a little update on what is going on in my world these days.
-We are getting very close to the birth of our first son. December 10 is the date and we are narrowing down our search for a name. The baby room is ready!
-I'm preaching the last passage in Galatians this Sunday (6:11-18). God willing, I'll do at least one (maybe 2) overview message. 6:14 is sweeping in its scope: "May I never boast except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ."
-I'm going to the Gospel Growth conference at Capitol Hill Baptist next week with another pastor-friend from the area.
-I had a dream that I was sitting in Mark Dever's study getting lectured about how sorry my blog is (no argument there). And, I was looking through all his books.
-Looking forward to having Sam Storms come to the Wilson area in February!
-Looking forward to T4G 2008!

I'm glad that you had the clearheadedness to look through Mark Dever's books when you visited his study in your dream! That's certainly what I would have wanted to do.
Actually, I have been in Mark Dever's study before. It drove me crazy because there is no organization to it at all. He has books just stacked on top of each other all through the shelves. I've got to be able to see the spines of all the books!
