A few new books to take notice of:
1. Culture Shift by Al Mohler.
2. Instructing a Child's Heart by The Tripps - the is the follow-up to Shepherding a Child's Heart.
3. A Thinline ESV WITH Cross-references!! Must anticipated version of the ESV. The one downside to the traditional thinline was that it didn't have references. Now, you can have the best of both worlds. Also, check out the cool covers.

Yes, the ESV personal size had been on my "much anticipated list" since I first read about it. I tried hard to track it down at the local Christian bookstore but to no avail. Of course I got the "We can order it" but I passed, hoping to find it somewhere sooner. I did finally find it at BAM (after going in both stores almost every day for two weeks after the official release date). I have a bible fetish and at this point I may consider this the closest to perfect bible for me. And probably for a long time.
