Preaching regularly for 2 years now has been a huge blessing to my soul. I reflected a little on what I have preached over the past 2 years and I thought I would recommend a few of my sermons that have left a mark on my soul. Picking a few "favorite" sermons is kind of like trying to pick a favorite child: it is an impossible task. Every sermon has captured my full attention. Every week I spend 40+ hours studying, praying, debating, agonizing, and delivering these sermons. Each week God has met me, spoken to me, and given me a passion to help my people "get" the truth of the passage. Understanding that, here are a few of my favorite sermons (in no particular order):

Regarding your sermon, Jesus Secures and Satisfies: I have never thought of the book of John as a display case of the Glory of God until you used that illustration. But as I think on that it is true of all of God's Word.
That is only one of the many nuggets of truth that I took from this message. The main nugget that I needed to be reminded of is that it is Jesus (and only Jesus) that gives provides security and He is the one that satisfies. So often I fill myself with the stale bread of the world.

You are exactly right. The entire Bible is meant to reveal the glory of the Savior. I just used John for that message because thats where we were.
