If you are looking for items to add to your Christmas lists, I recommend books. Christmas and Birthdays are the best times to build a library. Instead of getting new sweaters and garden hoses, why not ask people to contribute to your theological library? In order to serve you, I have put together a list of the best New Testament commentaries on each book (English based). All of these commentaries are written from an Evangelical and conservative perspective. However, just because they are listed here does not mean that you can trust everything they say. Commentaries are never to take the place of the Bible itself. Focus your attention on the text of Scripture and use commentaries simply to supplement your own interpretation.
