Packer's Knowing God

J.I. Packer’s Knowing God is among the best books ever written. This would be a good book to work your way through this summer. Packer begins with what it means to actually know God and then takes the reader on a journey through the attributes of God. One of the final chapters is called, “The Heart of the Gospel” in which he describes the Biblical doctrine of propitiation.

This is a great book. I haven't read it in about 5 years or so, but I remember parts of it very well.

This is a book that I have read over and over. Jonathan even led a Bible Study with our high school boys using this book. I witnessed a lot of growth in my son through this book, Jonathan's teaching and God's grace
