What should preachers read?

I found this excellent advice from Lig Duncan tucked away in his annotated bibliography in the back of In My Place Condemned He Stood. This advice deserves broad dissemination. Lig gives this advice on page 175, in his description of Hugh Martin's Christ for Us ($5!!!).

"It would be a good habit for every evangelical preacher always to be reading something on the atonement, and especially the best sermons on the atonement. Such a practice gets our hearts ready to run to the cross in our own preaching."

Brothers, run to the cross in your preaching. Run, Run, Run.
