Heroes

The oxford dictionary defines a hero as, "a man who exhibits extraordinary...greatness of soul, in connection with any pursuit, work or enterprise."

God intends for us to have heroes in the faith (Heb. 13:7).

Who are your heroes? Who are those who have exhibited extraordinary greatness of soul in the work of Christ? Who are those worthy of your imitation?

Please comment. I'd love to hear who your heroes are.

I could name lots of dead heroes. Lately, Andrew Fuller has been a big one. Reading his journal and seeing his cries for spiritual usefulness have greatly convicted me. He knew his heart a lot better than I know mine; he was therefore much humbler and a more powerful instrument in the hands of God.

All the heroes would be those who had/have keep on pointing me to Christ! I am always so thankful for them both living or dead.(This would be including people that I hadn't met, and those that I had met.) Where would I be if it wasn't for them to point me to Christ? I am also thankful for their heroes who had pointed them to Christ too!

We all do need heroes that will continue to point us to Christ and to remind us daily how much we all need Christ even though we don't even deserve such a wonderful blessing from Him.

The Lord is always so good!
