I have to say "AMEN"!!!!! After what I percieve to be "bad news" for our country after the election. (I know that the Lord is sovereign over this- but its still hard)
Anyway- that is such a good reminder to me to trust in the Lord- I can't put my hope in our new president's experience, foreign policy, or taxation. But I know that I can have a firm trust in the Lord!!!
I really appreciated your video form piper. That was encouraging. To be honest- in the beginning I was conflicted with Palin being a woman and what our place is in this world. But at the same time knowing that this is the world we live in. We live in a liberal time (not that culture should EVER over ride scripture) But we have to face the fact that women are dominating more and more places in this culture that are what I believe- a man's place- and thats not just in our government- thats also in business. Dallas has had to submit to women in the work place as well. So what do you do? There is even talk about Palin running for President in 08'.
I guess for me its trying to choose btwn "the lesser of two evils". You know?
